I am a cognitive behaviour therapist, who is passionate about helping to improve the mental health of individuals. I work from The Wellbeing Rooms in both Bearsden and Stepps and also online via Zoom.
Sometimes we just need someone to listen to us without judgement. I can help with developing healthier coping strategies and reducing negative thought patterns. Although cognitive behaviour therapy is the main modality that I work with, I also have experience with schema therapy. Schema therapy aims to change negative patterns or beliefs that people have lived with for a long time. The longstanding patterns or themes are called 'schema's'. These schemas typically develop early in our life

Working collaboratively on conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression/low mood, stress, and trauma related difficulties I can help to provide useful tools and techniques that will help you progress and heal. I aim to provide a safe and confidential space to work through issues and will use other evidenced based therapeutic approaches to suit individual needs, such as compassion focused therapy and mindfulness.
